YOUR BRACELET IS NEVER THE PERFECT FIT
The Longines Zulu Time is easily one of the brand’s best releases in years — but it should have shipped with this feature. Add it, and it’s perfect.
Morning: perfect. Afternoon: too tight. Evening: too loose. Heat, cold, and movement change your wrist — your bracelet can’t keep up.
On The Fly fixes that with instant, tool-free ±5 mm adjustment, completely hidden under your clasp. You’ll never see it, and neither will anyone else — except they’ll notice your watch always sits perfectly.
Always Perfect – Comfort on demand, in seconds.
Invisible Upgrade – Discreetly tucked under the clasp, preserving your watch’s original look.
Luxury Craftsmanship – Same 316L stainless steel grade as Longines, with a flawless aesthetic match.
Easy 1-Minute Install – Use the supplied friction pin and a pin pusher tool; install once and adjust forever.
Reversible – Install once, remove anytime, no trace.
Once you try it, every other bracelet will feel wrong.

Tools Required
Pin-pusher tool
Small ball-peen or nylon hammer
Bracelet holder or block (to keep the bracelet stable)
Installation Steps
Remove the clasp from the bracelet
Use a pin-pusher and hammer to drive out the spring bar that connects the clasp to the bracelet.
Detach the clasp completely.
Remove the original connector link
Longines bracelets typically use friction (cotter) pins.
Look for small arrows on the underside of the link showing the direction to push the pin.
If there are no arrows, identify the split end of the pin and push from the opposite side.
Place the bracelet in the holder with the arrow (or split end) pointing downward.
Using the pin-pusher and hammer, gently drive the pin out and remove the connector link.
Install the Steel Reef On The Fly Extension Link
Position the extension link where the connector link was removed.
Insert the Steel Reef-supplied friction pin, starting with the thin, straight end first so the wide, split end goes in last.
Tap gently with the hammer until the pin is flush.
For the final taps, place the pin-pusher between the pin and hammer to avoid marking the bracelet.
Reattach the clasp
With the extension link in the open position, slide the clasp’s connector into the extension link’s folding arms.
Use the pin-pusher and hammer to reinstall the spring bar.
We don’t make “universal” links. Every Steel Reef component is individually designed for a specific Longines reference and cut from the same grade of steel your watch is made from. Machined to ±0.02 mm, our links match OEM-inspired tolerances and finish so precisely that they disappear into your bracelet — the only difference is the improved comfort and balance. This level of precision takes time, expertise, and cost to achieve, which is exactly why serious collectors choose Steel Reef.
If it doesn’t look, feel, and fit like it belongs on your Longines, send it back for a full refund.
