By placing a contribution towards SwiftLink, you acknowledge that you are supporting the development and production of a new product. These terms are designed to ensure full transparency and to set out the risks and responsibilities associated with contributing to an in-progress project.
1. CONTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
1.1. This is not a conventional retail purchase. Your contribution helps fund the initial manufacturing run and secures eligibility to receive a unit once production is completed.
1.2. Estimated Delivery Timeline: We currently estimate the first half of 2026 for delivery. This is an approximation only and subject to change.
1.3. Potential Delays: Timelines may extend due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

1.4. No Guarantees: All delivery estimates are provisional. Steel Reef cannot guarantee any specific shipping date and is not liable for inconvenience or costs arising from delays.
2. FINALITY OF CONTRIBUTIONS
2.1. Contributions are final. Once placed, they cannot be canceled, refunded, or modified.
2.2. Why are contributions non-refundable? Funds are allocated immediately to production commitments such as minimum order quantities (MOQ), tooling, and manufacturing costs.
2.3. Personal Circumstances: A change in your own circumstances (e.g. resale of your watch, change of preference) does not entitle you to cancel or request a refund.
3. PROJECT FEASIBILITY & RISKS
3.1. Contributing involves risk. SwiftLink is in development, and technical or supply chain challenges may occur.
3.2. Project Viability: While we are fully committed to delivering SwiftLink, in the event the project cannot move forward due to extreme circumstances, refunds may not be possible.
3.3. Understanding the Risk: By contributing, you accept that funds are being used to finance production and acknowledge the associated risks.
4. COMPATIBILITY DISCLAIMER
4.1. Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring SwiftLink is compatible with your watch.
4.2. Fitment Guidance: Compatibility information is published on our website.
4.3. No Returns for Incompatibility: We cannot accept returns or issue refunds if SwiftLink is incompatible due to customer error.
5. MANUFACTURING & PRODUCT ADJUSTMENTS
5.1. Refinements: We may refine or improve SwiftLink’s design before final production to enhance quality and performance.
5.2. Variations: The final product may differ in minor respects from prototypes or early descriptions.
5.3. Standards: Any changes will be made with the aim of improving functionality and durability, and do not create grounds for cancellation or refunds.
6. SHIPPING & CUSTOMS RESPONSIBILITY
6.1. Fulfilment Order: Contributions will be fulfilled in the order received once production completes. A tracking number will be provided at dispatch.
6.2. Import Duties: International customers are responsible for any import taxes or duties levied by their local authority.
6.3. Address Accuracy: It is the contributor’s responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address at checkout.
7. RESALE & UNAUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTION
7.1. Personal Use Only: SwiftLink contributions are intended for personal use and not for resale.
7.2. Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel contributions suspected to be for unauthorized resale.
8. FORCE MAJEURE & EXTERNAL RISKS
8.1. External Factors: Steel Reef is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by circumstances outside of our control, such as:

8.3. Worst-Case Scenario: If production becomes indefinitely impossible, we will communicate next steps, which may include alternative solutions or partial credit, but full refunds cannot be guaranteed.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1. Indirect Damages: Steel Reef is not liable for indirect or consequential damages relating to delays, modifications, or manufacturing challenges.
9.2. Maximum Claim: In the event of a dispute, liability is capped at the original contribution value.
9.3. Risk Acceptance: By contributing, you accept the risks outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
10. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
10.1. Confirmation: By placing a contribution, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
10.2. No Exceptions: No exceptions apply unless explicitly stated by Steel Reef in writing.
10.3. Updates: These Terms & Conditions may be updated, but the version in place at the time of your contribution will apply.
